# Terms

This page sets `mode: frame` in its frontmatter. Both the sidebar and the table of contents are gone, but the topbar stays, and this article renders at its normal width, centered exactly like a default page - "frame" as in it's still inside the site's outer frame, just without the reading-navigation chrome on either side. Good for a standalone page (a terms-of-service page, a single long guide linked from elsewhere) that doesn't belong in any sidebar's hierarchy and doesn't need its own table of contents.

It also lives at `legal/terms.mdx` - a custom-named folder that isn't `docs/` at all, nested one level deep - proving pages outside `docs/` can live anywhere and nest as deeply as needed, exactly like pages inside `docs/` can.

This is filler text standing in for real terms of service - Kitchen Sink is a schema/rendering demo, not a real product.
